As any party privy to the inner workings of Sound Events will know, late January saw Managing Director James “Leo” Keating marry his long term partner Lex. In advance of the official ceremony, it was only right to find a location for Party of The Century – AKA the Pre-Nup Rave-Up.

After scouring Devon’s selection of country houses and wedding venues, a process that put the to-be-weds in the shoes of a Sound Events client, it was decided that none other than Buckland House would host this party of epic proportions. Situated in the remote and mysterious location of Buckland Filleigh, this stunning period building was packed with character and charm. The space easily catered for around 120 party guests, and at least 30 people were accommodated in the dizzying array of bedrooms. Not only was the interior a picture of pure extravagance, but the grounds and gardens were a beautiful example of Devon’s fine ¬†green countryside.

To make this an event to remember, the Sound Events production team installed full bass-music PA system, along with venue-grade lighting rig and additional ambient/feature lighting around the house.
